I washed the ornament well and placed into the tank for an hour but I noticed a really strong adhesive smell. When I took the ornament out I noticed there was some glue fixed to the bottom of the ornament which presumably held the ornament in its packaging. Do you think this glue is safe? I've since peeled it off but the base (where the glue was fixed) smells really strong and I'm now really concerned I will need to empty my tank of water and start the cycling process again.

Surely, Reef One wouldn't use an adhesive that was damaging? But I'm just pretty concerned since it smells very very strong.

Any suggestions/help?

Thanks
